i drought the sims medieval collectors edition on saturday and i could not find the reddem code button it said on the bit of paper it was in opitions but instead it is on the menu on the main page whright at the dottom but when i typed it in it did not work orthough i had typed it in please help. oh and let me know if you have pordlems with it. nightwitch

I had problems with the Collector's Edition, mainly due to the fact that the code I put in was for Limited Edition content, and not the Collector's Edition content (ie - 3 throne rooms and 10 outfits); so that's my beef with the code in the game,,, |

ea lied through there teeth there is no extra outfits when you put the code init only gives you the limted edtion stuff. ********! |

Hmm that's kinda odd. I know sometimes when I buy games, not sure if it's for the Sims Medieval one but you can find a code on receipt. But it might not be the case here. xD |

Here is what their live chat helper told me "the collectors was changed to the limited edition so that is the only content that comes with this game" that was lovely Jamal C Oh but I was offered 2000 sims point instead..... which obviously is so useful to someone who has all the content anyway....... I wonder what will happen when they are contacted by my Lawyer for falsification of product information on the packaging. Oh and apparently Unlock and Download mean the same thing. So everyone be sure to download your doors and windows at night! |

I don't know what the hell they were talking about. Am on the phone to their support. They have tried telling me over the phone that there was never meant to be a collectors edition, then when he spoke to a supervisor they stated that it was meant to be held back, but that Game did not let their customers know. They asked me if I was threatening legal action, so I pointed out that all I wanted was what the game box was promising me. If their response was going to be thanks for the money but tough they left no other avenue. I also asked how come Game had received a shipment of a product that was being held back. They are now escalating it so when they have more information available they can contact me. |

GAME obviously is giving out codes for new outfits and refunds. If you bought the CE through GAME, you should contact them. Find more details in this thread in the EA Forum: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/5505922.page |

It seems the codes they are giving out now are for the outfits that are unlocked for the buyers of the Prima Game Guide, the 2 mercantile outfits.

Ok I have spoken to game again. They are very sorry about the situation. They keep on getting conflicting reports from EA just the same as we are. The codes they offer do work and give the merchentile outfits (for the female outfit it is the one the female romantic interest of the First Steps quest wears). They are also refunding the difference between the 2 games which is probably the fairest compromise they can offer as EA seem resistant to offering anything tangible at the moment. The 2 managers at Game customer services I spoke to are very good and made me feel much better about the situation. My suggestion would be if you are still hitting brick walls to ask to speak to one of these , either Ellie or Sam |

On a related note, I noticed that when you pick a throne room from the limited edition, there are objects there that are not available in buy mode. Can anyone unlock those for buy mode? the dark magical throne, the gargoyles, the wooden statue holding a torch, the princess throne and probably more? And are there any images for the outfits that come with the guide? Not that 20,99 euros is worth it though, that really is an insane price for a game guide to a game that really isnt that difficult to figure out. 5 euro's would already be a steep price for that. |

pordley lies the game guide for this game is not that will let's just say not will informed adout much like how do you get your sims to marry each other and how do you get two sims in the same proffison stuff like that. but adout the watcher level thing and the extra stuff you get with it. if the game guide is right will you let me know |
