Hi^^

I've been trying to make an arch Late Night compatible for some time, however, the darn wall mask never seems to stick! I made sure it was DXT 1, but no luck still...

Are you making sure that the alpha layer is the same as the other layers? Whatever areas are black/white on the RGB layers also needs to be on the alpha layer. And be sure to save as dxt1 with 1 bit alpha and not just dxt1. Otherwise you will lose the alpha layer and won't get the cutout.

Yep

Actually, I used the wall mask for the windows on the arch, and it still shows up like this. Oddly enough, last week the arch looked perfectly fine, but now it's giving me problems. Tried clearing cache files, didn't work.

did you install it as sims3pack or package?

@HL, i have never seen a dxt1 with alpha
As far as i know it doesn't support a alpha layer.
3recolor stuff uses dxt1noalpha, 4 recolor uses dxt5withinterpolatedalpha

Installed as a package.

But, something I noticed is that the Multiplier does NOT look transparent in S3PE for some reason. Could this be the problem???

EDIT

Nevermind, got it to work!

Decided I would just replace the DXT files in the original package. Don't know why I didn';t think of this sooner...
