(if this is in the wrong thread please tell me where i should post it,i saw cc issues and didn't think it is the right section) anyway i have collector's edition and couldn't get the sports car to work for me. please tell me if it worked for you tnx

I'm fairly sure this is in the wrong section, but regardless, what specifically is the issue? By that I mean, is the code(?) not working, it isn't showing up in game? We can't exactly help you if you don't give us more details. |

sorry i forgot i had no trouble downloading it and after i hit install it shows up in the installed content tab but when i go to the game it isn't there and if i close the launcher after installing the car(without going into the game)and open it up again it will show up as uninstalled again does it work in your game? |

So I assume you just bought this game? Are you fully patched? I assume you have to be fully patched to download certain EA custom content. |

That's a recurring issue ever since the 1.5 base game patch. This patch introduced some check to prevent pirated store content from being installed via the launcher. Unfortunately, this also works very well on legit purchases quite often. EA's Sims forum is full of threads with regard to this. Have you tried re-downloading it? If this doesn't work, there's some free holiday gift set that contains the Montalcino Fandango, too. |
