Okay HI IM CHANTEH AND I NEED MAJOR HELP >o<
Okay, so ever since last night I downloaded a bunch of sims 2 cc ( from milanisims2 )on accident because the sim model looked like TS3! Then I realized it was just TS2s that were just tweeked up too much! -___- So i deleted them about an hour ago...

I also downloaded some more things on modthesims and I downloaded something that they wont go skinny dipping unless you tell them to, something like that....

Anyways, i ran sims 3 and then it was PITCH BLACK for like 5 minutes with the cursor and then it all of a sudden starts up, and when it loads to choose your neighborhood... it takes longer than usual, THEN when you choose your neighborhood/family.. my neighborhood/family doesnt load! ( i tried all 3 ) when its suppose to be like this on loading[ ----------------------]<~~ full. its like this[ ---- ] (-__-) it starts from [-- ] to [--- ] thats it! P.S Right now its like this [-------- ] and i've been running it for what?.... 10-15-20 minutes?!

I also got the dashboard from modthesims and cleared the cache still nothing! I think one of my cc is having a problem, OH & btw my total cc is 74 ( including mods)...
P.S I have Ambitions and Late night and im currently running late night ( my 2nd expansion pack )

btw, i put my cc in a temp folder for now, and ran ts3 and STILL same thing!!

I turned on my laptop today and all of a sudden on the startup on my laptop it was scanning my Sims 3 Disc.... idk y?...

I deleted all my cc, still the same thing! I only kept some cc i had from a while ago ( oct & december ) BTW THERE ARE NO MODS like, disabling thiefs for example....!
I just started it up and that same black screen and cursor showed up and it took 5-10 min AGAIN for the EA thing to show up, then the loading to go choose your neighborhood took more time than usual again!!


But it would take forever for me to re-install The Base Game, Ambitons & late night >_< I also tried to do the package lag thing, still nothing >_<

You don't necessarily have to reinstall. CC won't mess up your game files, but it -could- still be an issue in your user files.

Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problem^wiki - do this. Every step, in order. Don't skip anything. Let us know how it goes. Don't reinstall yet.

Okay, im trying that right now, i've put my cc in a temp folder ( btw there is exactly 10 CC that i've kept ) I deleted the cache files ... next i've gotta run the game and see if anything happens, if not gotta do the next step...

You've put -all- your CC elsewhere then, right? Not all your CC but for 10 files, yeah?

XD, I deleted all my cc but kept the ones that I cant live without... LOL, i just couldnt let go of some more, but I said just leave it :P

And i put the cc elsewhere, in a folder called Temp CC on my desktop My sim family is kinda loading but i'll wait 2-5 more min and see what happens and i'll get back to you

I re-installed late night and got rid of all my custom content and moved my EA folder to the desktop (it said to do it in one thread ) STILL THE SAME BLACK SCREEN AND TWIRLING CURSOR FOR 5-10-15 MIN AND A VERY SLOW LOADING TIME >__<
I have no CC right now, idk why its doing this! I tried almost everything! When i want to make my new neighborhood ( BridgePort ) it either will take hours and hours for it to load or it just wont load ! The highest is probably 5%.
