I am horrible at titles...anyways, this should be a thread to just talk about your sims! Tell the stories behind them, what's happening in your game...idk. I love hearing about other people's sims, and I love talking about my own!
So my current main sim is Olivia Curley, the adopted daughter of Esme and Tate Curley. She was adopted by Esme & Tate when she was a child, and she grew up in Appaloosa Plains. Her childhood/teen years were fairly uneventful; she had a brief romance with Cruz Martingale, she became best friends with Benni Hennessey, nothing particularly eventful. Her parents died right at the end of her teen years, and I aged her up 2 days early and moved her, her dog, and Benni Hennessey to Bridgeport.
I had planned for her to be a movie star, and Benni to be in a successful band. A few days pass, and Olivia meets a very attractive man named Matthew Hamming! I get them up to friends through Olivia's job, and then I make my move. Through a wild night of woohoo at Olivia and Benni's apartment, they become romantic interests.
About a week passes, and Olivia decides to take things with Matthew to the next level. Another night of woohoo transpires, and Olivia and Matthew are now "official", despite Matthew's commitment issues. Olivia, Benni, and Olivia's dog all move in with Matthew, and this is where things get interesting!
Benni starts flirting with Matthew behind Olivia's back, but one day Olivia finds out. After some very violent fighting, Olivia and Benni go from being best friends to enemies, and Benni moves out. (During this time, I add 2 more bedrooms and a basement fsmily room to Matthew's house. Olivia also quits the film career to be an author).
A few days pass, and Olivia and Matthew are quite happy togetger. So after another night of woohoo, Matthew proposes! They are planning to get married very soon, and hopefully start a family!

I just started a new family of foxes. They live on the outskirts of the town in a small secluded den by the waterfront. They spend most of their time sleeping through the day and hunting at night, playing around or getting the den ready for when their first kit arrives.

I'm playing Cave Johnson, a scientist who started in Twinbrook in one of the swamp houses, got abducted and impregnated, gave birth to Tut the alien boy(genious, friendly, something else, wants to be a doctor), met and married an alien called Sizhut, who then gave birth to Nirrti , a girl (evil, charismatic, doesn't have a career goal yet). They now live close to town center and have lots of Seasonal parties, the kids are teens at the moment.

Tut is very alien-looking but Nirrti looks very human in her proportions even though she has green skin and alien eyes. She actually reminds me of the singer Kelis. So I made her a Mean Girls--Milkshake babe. She is the chosen heir but Tut will always live with her and be the breadwinner of the family. The family theme is half Stargate SG1 and half Portal so there are plenty of names to use for Nirrti's children.

I'm playing Abigail Murray, a sweet girl who can't quite figure out what she wants in life. She loves to perform, and has a natural talent for music, so she's on her way to becoming a rock star.
She just married Samuel Murray (original Stiles McGraw, seriously reworked!) and as soon as they both roll a wish to have a child, I'll be er ... putting them in motion, so to speak.

Anyways, she's quite fun to play. Originally she was a complete party girl, constantly rolling wants to throw parties and was a commitment phobe, never wanted kids, etc.
Then when she met Samuel (at that point Stiles McGraw) she started rolling wishes that had to do with him, constantly. Chat with Stiles, Kiss with Stiles, Watch the Stars with Stiles, etc.
I moved him in to see where it went, and they both rolled wishes to get married! So now they are. I tweaked her traits a little to work better with her current lifestyle.

Darien Anderson was born, and raised on the west side of Sunlit Tides. His parents died while he was young, so he had to grow up rather quickly. When he was a teen, he discovered just how much he loved the sciences, and decided to become a Scientist. He landed his first job as a "Test Subject" at the local science facility. When Darien saved enough money he purchased a small little home next to the home that he was raised in, and he also purchased his first car.

Darien started climbing the career track rather quickly, and before he knew it he was more than half way to the top. While working at the science facility, he discovered his love for gardening. He started his garden with lettuce, pumpkins, tomatoes, and onions. Once he got the hang of it, he got addicted to it.

One day Darien was doing some gardening in his yard, and he got drenched in the rain and ruined his work uniform.



So some years pass by, and Darien has finally saved up enough money to move into a new home and purchase a new car. Darien decided to move closer to the beach. At Darien's first Snowflake Day Party in his new home, one of his co-workers brings Denise Edwards with them to the party. Darien was introduced to Denise, and they spent most of the party getting to know one another. (Denise is NOT pictured here, but this is a fun pic from the party.)



After the party, Darien and Denise to decide to keep in touch with one another. One day, Denise called Darien and told him that she needed to find a new place to live, because she could no longer afford the home she was living in. Being the generous person that Darien is, he told her that she was more than welcome to rent out the spare bedroom that he had in his place. Denise kindly, and gladly accepted his offer. As the days grew older, Darien and Denise started falling for one another. At the Summer Festival, Darien asked Denise to be his girlfriend.



Some months later, Darien gets a call from his boss letting him know that there's a job in Monte Vista that is perfect for Darien... "Mad Scientist" paying $481/hr. Darien is excited about the position, but nervous about telling Denise the news. Darien starts tip toeing around Denise, trying to figure out the best way to tell her the news. One day while they were watching TV, Denise said "spit it out Darien. I know you have something to tell me." It was there that Darien revealed his big news to Denise, and she was very happy for him and immediately asked... "So when are we moving?"

A few weeks later, they make the big move to the Italian town known as Monte Vista. It's a change that takes them some time to get used to. Denise lands a job at the local bistro, and starts making some good money and connections. Denise's boss notices that not only is she an amazing chef, but she's also an extremely talented artist. One day, Denise gets a call from the Leader of the Free World and he asks her to paint 15 paintings to develop relationships with the government. When Denise delivered the paintings to City Hall, the "LOTFW" presented her with a $26k check for her time and effort. Before Denise could tell Darien the big news, he proposed marriage to her...





The rest is history.

@Ephy: I've never had a family of animals before, did you use a mod? That's a really pretty lot, btw!
@Sirah: That actually sounds really interesting! I love the way it actually sounds like a story, unlike most of my games, lol.
@kayls: That sounds very similar to my sim Olivia! She used to be a huge party girl, but she's settled down a lot since becoming serious with Matthew.
@KLTboy: Those are some gorgeous sims! I've never played Sunlit Tides or Monte Vista, how are they so far?

My sims...? my sims... no, doesnt ring a bell. Oh, wait, do you mean those little animated characters I keep seeing for the 5 minutes between crashes and freezes today? Oooh, yeah, they're pretty cute. They don't do much though. Just freeze apparently.

Oh the freezes....clearing my cache files has become a necessity lately, as I find the game is damn near unplayable when I don't. And even then it still freezes. Here's to hoping it gets better when I upgrade my PC.

Aw thank you! I will let them know that you like them. I LOVE Sunlit Tides. It is such a beautiful island, and if you have Seasons the festival lot is on a 'boardwalk' looking lot... absolutely gorgeous. I am not really sure about Monte Vista just yet... There aren't really enough lots for you to place venues from previous EPs, but it's a cute town. I will probably go back to Sunlit Tides in a bit though. I miss the gorgeous sunsets.

From the screenshots and previews and what not, it looked like a beautiful town, I may have to try it!

Unfortunately the game that I was playing with Denise & Darien had a corrupt save file, so I had to do their bachelor/bachelorette parties and wedding over with. Instead of composing a huge story, here are some pics from their parties, and wedding.

OMG! My sim just got married to Matthew too! o.O It's so weird when you see townies you use in your game in other people's stories. o.O All of you, great stories, I love hearing about other people's sims <3

I live off Sim drama so the lives of my sims tend to get pretty ridiculous haha.
So I'm playing David white, a well off superstar athlete who also was born with an insane trait so I catch him doing all kinds of strange things around the house, like digging through the trash and talking to himself. Anywho, David first got married to Townie Debra Decker who moved in with her younger sister Jess Decker who was only a toddler at the time. But then David went off and cheated on her with the maid, Mary. They were creeping behind her back whenever Debra went to work. One day, Debra came home to find him in bed with the maid and she had a huge fit. Needless to say, they ended up divorcing and she was kicked out from his house. Jess Decker still got to stay in the house though and David takes care of her she's family.

David ends up marrying Mary the maid and they had a good marriage. David ends up having his first child with her, Madeleine White! Then one day, when Madeleine had grown up to be a child, Mary accidentally dies in a fire (Note to self: don't leave fireplaces burning in the house).

Now widowed, David seems really miserable but he soon finds love again in another woman, Victoria James, who goes on to become his third wife. With her, he has his second child, James (Yes James James. What a lovely name! ) They had a good run as well, until Victoria also dies. Third times the charm? Not in this case!


Widowed a second time, David is back on the market! He meets and falls in love with another townie named Lisette Willoughby. This ones not going to be so easy though. He was sweet talking her the whole night, but she kept refusing his advances. Of course this made David want to get her more so he keeps pursuing her until finally she gives in. They get married. Ironically, Lisette ages up right after they get married and she becomes an elder. David promptly divorces her because he's planning on having more kids.

David's fifth wife was a beautiful townie sim named Alessandra Barzie. But she was a gold digger with a snob trait and easily made enemies with his family members. At this point, we come back to Jess Decker, remember the toddler that moved in the house with David's first wife? Well she's all grown now and had married David's brother George, but George passed on from old age (they had a huge age difference) so now she's a widow with her only son Presley. Anyway, David and Jess start to flirt up a storm and he realizes he's in love with her. Jess convinces him to divorce Alessandra and that brings us to...

His sixth wife, Jess Decker. Which is really kind of ironic because she's the younger sister of his first wife and also his brother's widow. This was probably his most stable marriage yet, until David realizes that he was in love with his second wife Mary, who had died in a fire. He becomes obsessed with the idea of resurrecting her, so he spends the remainder of his life trying to hunt down the ingredients to make Ambrosia. He goes fishing in the pond at the cemetery until he eventually catches a death fish, picks up seeds around the ground hoping for the life fruit plant. Not to mention that he had to up his gardening, fishing and cooking skills in order to make this Ambrosia! Now if that isn't love, what is? Jess is starting to get a little worried because her husband has been so dis-attached lately. He doesn't talk to her or any one anymore, he's become so obsessed with making Ambrosia. Little does she know, he has a diabolical little plan up his sleeve!

He plans to "sacrifice" Jess, so that the oh my ghost opportunity would present himself. This way he could get Mary's ghost back in game, where he can later feed her the ambrosia. At this point David had gotten all the necessary ingredients (by the way, it takes FOREVER to grow the life fruit plant. At least a week in sim time :o ) so now he just had to get his sacrifice arrangements under way. He had planned to trap Jess in a doorless room and starve her to death but very coincidentally (I was actually amazed when this happened in game, what great timing!), his son, James was presented with the oh-my-ghost opportunity out of nowhere. So Jess was spared a very tragic death, and instead he divorced her. I'd say she was pretty lucky! So now we have Mary's ghost back on the lot. After having spent his entire adulthood trying to make this ambrosia, he was only about a day away from aging up to elder status. So he finally feeds Mary the ambrosia where she comes back to life and then makes another for himself, to rewind his age. and they lived Happily ever after.....for now >=D

It's time for that end of the summer pool party, and the Anderson's are the perfect hosts for it in Sunlit Tides. Denise, and Darien decided to invite all of their closest friends for a fun get together, and from the looks of it everyone had a great time. It started off with a water balloon fight. Sounds fun, but I can't help but think that a strong arm could make this game 'ouch-worthy.' LOL





While the water balloon fight was going on, it seems like the woman on the lounge chair is NOT having the sight in front of her. She seems to be thoroughly disgusted by the flirting going on in this picture...





I LOVE how every time Denise and Darien invite Jeppayee over she has a new look. "You go girl!"





Eleanor has arrived... I LOVE this woman. She has the sweetest look to her. If you have Sunlit Tides, invite her to a party or two... she's so much fun.





So, because Denise cannot handle losing ... she decided to spray her teammate with nectar. How sticky!





So it's time for that last dance... I LOVE the sunset.





So a few days after the pool party, Denise and Darien take the fertility treatment in hopes of having twins or even triplets their first time. After they "woo-hooed," and Denise got confirmation that she was pregnant she told Darien the big news. Doesn't he look excited to be a dad?





The perfect way for any expecting mom to relieve stress is to do her favorite thing... in Denise's case, paint.





On a cool fall evening, the Anderson's brought home their 3 daughters TRIPLETS... Please welcome Danielle, Dani and Dawn home.

These are the families I play in my hood Midsomer

Worthington:
The legacy I started when I started this hood may 2011. The founder Francess Worthington is now dead, he married Dilly Pidgin from Twinbrooks and they had two kids. Basil and Camomilla. Camomilla is the heir, married to Tanner and they have 1 teen, 1 toddler and one on the way. This family lives on a farm and run the grocery shop in my hood.

Kewfilwe:
Thandiwe works in politics and runs the town's weekly meeting. Poor thing has been very unfortunate with love, she tried and tried but couldn't find anybody. Then she met Rogue Hurst, they got married on Sunday, she was a widow by Monday. On Tuesday she held his funeral while still on her honeymoon. He was old, but she didn't expect him to perish so fast. Then she found love in one guy I stole from Hidden Springs. Just so he could die from butt fire after I got seasons. Thandiwe has the want to have 2 kids. She got her first one Netra, before she met Rogue, when she decided to just use doner DNA from the hospital (Hospital overhaul mod). The random doner she chose was Ian Racket. Thandiwe will become an elder next round. Even though she has given up hopes to have another child, I have kept the want locked. Its kind of like the dream you never could fulfill.


Tellerman:
Emsley is the son of Komei Tellerman (now dead). A middle aged director. He has a daughter named Priska. Priska's mother Kimiko, even though has the nurturing trait, she was so miserable after Priska was born, that she ended up leaving the baby with her boyfriend and moving to Jericho.

Badger's Drift:
This house, started out when my random legacy heir decided to start a nursing home. But even though she's a nurse, she and elders were a bad mix, due to her bad temper. She sold the house and it's debts to Mary Baker from Twinbrooks. Mary turned the house to a bed and breakfast and named it Badger's Drift. Mary had a quick fling with Frances Worthington while he lived in her care, but after his death she fell in love with Vine Phleps, and Vine ended up leaving her husband Garret and moved in with Mary. Vine had 4 kids with Garret Phelps, one insane daughter Lumi, in the asylum, and two boring ones in military school. Her daughter Mist currently runs Badger's drift. She's not doing so great, she tries but then her father Garret died and the work piled up. Mist is dating Karl Morel, but I'm not sure how together these two will stay.

Jones-Brown:
My random legacy house, currently on generation 2. Demeter stole Dhalia Morel's fiancé and had one child with him. The man died of the flu after Demeter got pregnant. Due to this generations rules she needs 2 kids so then she stole Katrina Morel's (Dhalia's mother's) husband Mathew Hamming. Demeter is Emsley's half sister. Her mother was the surrogat mother for Komei's DNA when he and his husband wanted a child.

Gwydd:
Socha MacFee married Lang Gwydd from Twinbrooks and they had 1 son Francois. He then married Eunice Pertridge from Hidden Springs and they have 2 children. Socha died ages ago, Lang is still wobbling around on his cane. Francois works as a janitor in the school, he also works as the town's handy man. If anybody who can't fix anything has something broken, I summon him to the lot with MC and have him fix the item. Twallan's career mods make sure he gets payed and the money is subtracted from the customer families funds. Eunice is trying to finish her accounting degree but having kids so fast (both accidents) means she still has not graduated.

Racket:
Twallan's cowardly step son who works in the criminal career. His mother was born in Midsomer but she moved to Twinbrooks where she met Dudley Racket. The Racket family in twinbrooks is rich. Anna had no love for Dudley, only his money. Then you can imagine her surprise when they got married and she found out Dudley was the only poor Racket in the town. The rich ones lived in a mansion, he in a shack in a swamp
After Dudley died, Anna returned to Midsomer with her son Ian. She then decided to become a working girl, and got pregnant to her first client, Twallan. Twallan and Anna later married and had two sons, insane Janus who lives in the asylum, and one who died in a fire on his teen-birthday. Anna is now dead, so is Twallan. Ian is currently dating Hermia Prudence.

Prudence:
Pansy Prudence from Twinbrooks had given up on finding love (trust me she tried and got burned many many times), then her best friend's Dilly's eldest child Basil grew to a YA and it was love at first sight. Sure there was a bit gossip in town, as Pansy used to take care of Basil when he was a toddler. They had one daughter Hermia. Pansy died from old age when Hermia was a child. Basil is now an elder and living with his daughter and his boyfriend Bruce. Hermia is a YA and trying to get her teacher's degree so she can get a job in the education career. I think she and Ian might really be a good match as both are evil.

Arkham Asylum:
I don't like playing insane sims, so when an insane sim becomes a YA, they have to be shipped to the asylum. Kids can't be institutionalized. With teens it's up to the family to decide do they want to keep them in the house or send them to the asylum. The asylum was started with Mortimer Goth, but is currently run by Martin. Martin is not a veyr good doctor. When he stared as head doctor he got the want to raise his assassination skill. So, one patience had to go. Then he got depressed from what he had done, and it took him the rest of the round to get over it. Just as I was switching households, he got the want to raise his assassination skill again.

Colby:
​Christoff and Genevieve Colby are from Hidden Springs and made playable in my hood. Christoff runs the town's bar, The Prancing Pony. They have two kids, Metta who will become a teen on this round and a son who's name I can't remember. Genevieve runs the women's club in my hood. Currently it only has two members, Genevieve and Chase Bayless.

Bayless: Chase started out working as a live in maid for Komei. But when he passed away she took the money he assigned to her in his will and bought a small shack. She was very happy living her life alone surrounded by nature. But then she met Michael Bachelor, and now has two kids with him.

Midsomer Housing
I have one household where I put all my stolen sims from other hoods. That household I don't play. But sometimes I do want to get to know the residents a bit better, so I put a few of them to the "Midsomer Housing" house and play them for a round. Currently I have Layla Al-Fahad in here.

Hurst:
My Hurst legacy heir. This household started with the sim (Heinrich Hurst) I created when I got TS3 in 2009, and this is the official legacy line of this house. It's currently on generation 7. Carmen Hurst. She used to be dating Emsley until he broke up with her. She didn't see this coming and he had invited her to a trip with him and his daughter to Red Desert, then when they returned home he broke it off. With only 1.5 rounds before turning into a middle aged woman, Carmen is in a bit of a hurry to find a new man and keep the legacy going. Carmen is working on he athletic major and runs the town's gym.

The next 4 households are also descendants of Heinrich.

Morel:
Twins Dhalia and Enigma and Enigma's two children. Karl (YA), and Ownah (child). After Twallan's first wife Anna died, he married Enigma and they had Ownah. Even though Twallan's first two children were very "unique" looking, Ownah is just the cutest, and I can't wait to see her grown. Enigma moved back to live with her sister Dhalia after Twallan died. When I play this household the next time, Karl will move out and start a band.

Mathers:
Fiona has the crazy gene in her family. Her sister is crazy and living in the asylum. Her daughter was born with the trait and her oldest daughter got it when she became a YA. (I roll the traits, so I did not choose or wish for these crazy people).
After her sister lived for years in the asylum but hasn't got better, Fiona decided to try something different with her youngest child who is still a teen. She decided to trust Laila Al-Fahad who says you can cure insanity not with institutionalization, but with one to one therapy. So Asar moved in with Laila who will focus all her efforst in curing Asar from her insane trait. This type of one to one therapy is expensive, 10 000§/week. Fiona has an egyptian husband called Farid, and she runs the clothing store in my hood and works as a stylist.

Hurst:
The daughter of Rogue Hurst and Agness Crumplebutton. Agnes left Rogue with the baby because she wasn't into kids or playing a family. She lived alone in her small cottage, reading books and gardening. She had a fling with young Emsley Tellerman just after he became a YA. She also was dating Lang Gwydd, but he laughed at her when she proposed. She lived a bitter solitude existance since then. On occations she did meet Rogue and Gabrielle in town, with Rogue she always ended up fighting, with Gabrielle she had awkward conversations about trivial things. She just didn't know how to connect to her daughter, nor did she really want to. When Agnes died she left an inheriance of 200 000§ for her daughter. Gabrielle is now close to being middle aged, living the same type of solitude life as her mother. She would like to start a family, but Midsomer doesn't seem to have anybody for her.

These families are played in rotation, sunday - sunday. The next two households are my "out of rotation" households.

Morel:
Katrina is Dhalia and Enigma's mother. She's also the sim I'm turning into a witch. She is my favorite sim so playing her 1 week at a time is not enough. That's why she will become a witch and I'll give her the reward to stop her aging. Currently she's keeping young by eating life fruit, it feels less cheaty this way.

She knows the alchemy potion to become a witch and is trying now to find the ingredients. She has the gem, and she asked Tanner to catch her the toads which he did, now all she needs is the bug. Actually she needs to make 2 potions. One for her and one so her grand-daughter Ownah can "accidentially" find it and drink it. Katrina doesn't have the good trait but she is good hearted. While Ownah, she's the devils re-incarnation. If I want to try out poison apples and evils spells I need an evil witch.

Goth:
Started with Mortimer doing an asylum challenge. It ended with Mortimer running a real asylum and locking his wife in because he was worried about her mental stability. He then fabricated this story about her using the telescope and seeing bright lights and getting upducted, and considering how many people seem to believe this, I think he succeeded. Then Mortimer got arrested for a public fight, spent 2 days in jail. His wife died from the flu epidemic that was going through my town when he was released he no longer had any passion to work in the asylum, so Martin got the gig. In his older days Mortimer fell in love and married Eva Drudge. Both Mortimer and Eva are now dead. Cassandra is currently trying to find love to continue the legacy. She had a short fling with Dhalia Morel, then she kept going back and forth between two guys until she chose one of them. Both these guys are from Appaloosa Plains. I don't play the Goth household in rotation because I wasn't having fun with them and decided to concentrate on the legacy, and maybe unite the legacy to the rotation when they are on generation 10.

The Goth family have been struggling with glitches, but continuing their happy lives... until Cornelia tragically died of old age. The first possible day that she could have, in front of the nearly-completed painting I'd been wanting her to make for a while, and one day before she could complete her lifetime wish of a Perfect Garden.

Gunther Goth, despite being two days older than his wife, is still alive and has just managed to complete his own lifetime wish when he mastered the Charisma skill at the library (so he didn't even get to see his wife's death - she was mourned by Mortimer and Cassandra). I'm hoping he can survive the next couple of days and see winter, though I think his chances of surviving until spring are fairly small - my game has a habit of killing off active sims of old age asap.

In my other game, Horatio Starbright is doing well at filling Appaloosa Plains with his descendents (13 children, 8 grandchildren so far), although not many of them are the pale-blue-haired, purple-eyed variety he's looking for.

I started a new legacy family. It's cheat-free. Basically the story is that my Self-Sim is living with a Sim named Diamond Dust (lol there's a lotion line at my work with that name) who is a blonde big boobed bimbo in a one-bedroom, one bathroom trailer.

My Sim graduated from Swellesley College with a bachelors in Journalism and Diamond stripped through community college and eventually transferred with a scholarship to Sim Lawrence College, graduated with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Women's Studies and is now in the Political career track as a podium polisher. My Sim and her have an on-off friendship due to the full moon messing up their moods all the time. Anyway, the objective is to create an all-female legacy, probably mostly with single women adopting female children. The first gen will adopt one child, the second gen will adopt two, ect. I will decide if either Self-Sim or Diamond are the "heir" to the legacy by who gets promoted to level 5 of their career track the fastest.

Once the University EP comes out, I might change things a bit.

Well I've started a new sim to test out Seasons and he's quickly become a favorite.

Oliver Kraft recently moved to Sunset Valley after inheriting a large sum of money from his deceased family. He moved in to a house with a view of the beach and a quiet neighborhood. He's a big science geek so one of the first things he did was buy himself a telescope and as soon as the sun went down used it. By two o'clock he took a break to eat some cereal. It was then that he noticed a weird anomaly outside and went to investigate it. Outside he got more than he bargained for when the mysterious lights turned into an alien spaceship.

After coming home from his abduction Oliver started putting on some unexpected weight gain. Which he wasn't too happy about since he was going to meet up with his online friend Cycl0n3 Sw0rd coming up. Turns out he needn't have worried since the meet up at the Summer Festival went great and soon they started dating for real.

By the end of Summer Oliver had given birth to a little boy named Storm since he's the first sim in my game to be born while it was raining.
