Hey there, I have the Sims 3 along with the expansions: World Adventures, Ambitions and Late Night. I was playing for months with the game running smooth and a couple days ago it just started running jagged and slow. I had installed custom content, but I tried running the game without cc and the problem is still occurring.

Solutions Tried:

Closing all programs besides Sims
Running without CC
Cleaning up and defraging computer

Does anyone know why this problem is happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'd love to play Thanks so much!

UPDATE: Okay. So I went to a different town and selected a different family and everything works smooth and normal. I think it must be either Riverview, or my sim. Any way of telling please? I really don't want to lose all my progress in the game.

Have you played a lot in Riverview? Maybe Twallan's overwatch mod will help you. Also Twallan's master controller may come in handy. You can load both from here: http://www.the-isz.com/nraas/index.php?board=4.0

Yeah, Riverview (my sim) is all I would play. I appreciate all of your help, thank you! I'm going to check out Twallan's stuff.
