I finally have Generations installed, and I created a new file so I can try out the daycare profession. But I don't know how to start it, I don't see a building like the fire station and the stylist, for example. Help?

I haven't played yet so this could be wrong but from the comments here it sounds like you have to place the daycare center into your land in order for it to show up

Really? Ugh, that sucks, my edit town is so freaking annoying! I thought they edited the sunset valley though? I'll try that, thanks

EDIT: Nope, just a park, which is not giving me the option for the daycare career

Daycare is a profession you do from your home. There's no building. Just click on your computer and find a profession - it's under there.

Thank you! I knew it was at home, but I thought it would be like self-employed :P
Now I can go back to playing

You'll need more than one crib because you start out taking care of two toddlers.

I once thought i was sad because I had no shoes, then I saw a man with no feet.
Animals are such agreeable friends – they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.

I put in two cribs, but I never used them, so they're gone now. I'm on level 5 now and I've never had a toddler that wanted to sleep.
