Hello there. I have recently found out that one can merge packages. files and have also done so. This has made my game faster indeed but it is still slowed down by my downloads. Therefore it would be nice to know a way to change the slowing downloads into packages that is can merge and thereby make it not take out so much space! Besides for some reason some of my downloads seems to uninstall themselves after each time I play and this does not happen to the packages to I was thinking that this matter might also be fixed like this. So anyone know because it would be highly appreciated! From LLHP7

So you want to convert your sims3packs into .packages? There is a program for that purpose: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=364038 Also, are you aware that you can remove your sims3packs from downloads folder? If you just leave stuff there it will make things slower. |

There's not much point in doing that, as the sims3packs in Downloads aren't what the game actually uses - when you install sims3packs, they're converted into .package and put into merged files in the DCCache folder.
