 installing World Adventures over Generations

hey i just wanted to know if installing world Adventures over Generations will mess my game up or if it can just be patched to be fixed ? |

I was JUST about to ask this same question. But in my case, my Ambitions CD has a ring around the back of it and is unplayable. |

I know with Sims 2, you can install them out of order (I did this all the time to the point that I forgot what order they came in). On the official boards one of them guru guys said not to install out of order I am currently unistalling and reinstalling in order to see if that cures some errors I was experiencing with WA however I will need to wait to report back on whether it corrected the problems or not as I bought the stupid store download and it will take 14 hours to redownload. |

I uninstall LN and WA after I got Generations and subsequently installed them again, and no problems so far. |

I believe it is recommended to install in order, due to patch wonkiness, but it's perfectly possible to install out of order. I've done it a couple of times with no issues. |

You have to be able to install them out of order because not everyone gets all the EP's. I started playing Sims 2 in Dec 2007 with Double Deluxe that included Night Life and Bon Voyage. After that I got Seasons, then OFB, FreeTime and Apartment Life so I know I didn't install them in order with the exception of the last 2 EP's. So far in Sims 3, I've gotten all EP's up to Late Night.. haven't gotten my Generations yet but will be soon. Pets is also supposed to come out this year and guess what.. I'm not getting Pets but I will the next EP so logically, we can install them out of order  That's my 2 simoleons for the day!! Happy simming everyone
