Prom,graduation, teen parties

Its really annoying for people that like to micromanage everything in their game. I want to choose when my sim parents go out of town or when teenagers go to prom.

I really hope someone makes a mod to fix all this, because it really SUCKS

Agreed! I was playing my legacy, and the main kid never went to prom or had a teen party. Then the mofo aged into a young adult. The DAY AFTER HE AGED, his LITTLE BROTHER got BOTH the "free vacation!" and "prom!" options! So pissed off...

I'm guessing, but only guessing, that testingcheatsenabled has some way of spawningthose events manually. But that wouldn't much help a legacy what with the rules of no cheats.

I tried tesingcheatsenabled, but I couldn't find any spawning point. I mean, what would you even click? They go off screen for vacation.

I think Debug Enabler gives you "Throw Prom" on the School rabbithole if you have teens in the house. There's also a tuning file for chance of prom to be scheduled, so when combining the two, it should be possible to decide when to have prom yourself relatively easy. (It should be similar for parents leaving teens alone.)

That's why I'm not going to save if my sim is about to become a YA and hasn't had a prom notice. Their going to the prom or else I'm going to stage one myself. I also don't like how sims can only spray nectar at bachelor/hen parties and the Get Frisky interaction is only available after a wedding and disappears once the just got married moodlet wore off.

Would it really have killed EA to make all this stuff happen all the time? Why should I have to download mods and make my game run slower when they could have made this stuff available to all sims including the imaginary friend doll which child sims you make can't even get.
