Vampire Dogs, Cats, Horses

Sorry if posting in wrong section just thought since vampires are late night...

I was just browsing the GameplayData code to try learn modding and I found some peculiar code under BuffHeatingUp which I think implies that, after Pets is released, you can have vampire pets. Here's the code I found:

It doesn't imply that, unfortunately. That's just the standard way that they list valid "species" of Sims in all those kinds of entries.

It would be cool, though. But I severely doubt it'll happen.

Well it has only just became Standard. Last time I looked at a broadcaster (way back on patch 1.18 admittedly) it didn't define species, so I assume that this stuff has been added in preparation for Pets.

Probably doesn't mean you can make Vampire Dogs if they put it in though, as broadcasters are something completely different, although I can see dog whistles being a good pet broadcast! Plus the animations will not be there =/ but still.. a man can dream right?

That's what I was thinking but a vampiric guard dog would be awesome. Do they have werewolves in pets?

I don't think they've confirmed any new life state just yet, but I would really like to have werewolves. :o

That sounds like a really convoluted method of becoming one. Maybe he just didn't describe it well.

Sorry. I simply couldn't resist. Cookies to anyone who 'gets' it. On topic, I think it would be a bad idea to let the pets be supernaturals. I also don't think it very likely that EA will go to that kind of effort. Think of all the extra coding and animations involved.

That's not to say my Head Vampire won't have a guard dog he names Hellhound or something, but that's different.

I have a vampire horse on the sims 3. I dont know how ... I just adopted him from a neighbour ... he cant walk in the sun and he is thirsty ... I cant give him plasma or anything but he is still alive.
