I was in build/buy mode building a garden, looked away, looked back, and now my user interface is gone. I'm stuck in build/buy and cannot (judging by the red pause line) get to play mode. I can bring up the story editor by pressing [F4]. When in build/buy, I can select, place, and delete items, and restore with [ctrl+z]. Pressing [tab] makes the cursor disappear for the free camera, and pressing it again does nothing for the UI. Actually, all keyboard shortcuts and mouse functions I tried worked, I just can't get my UI back.

The only new custom content I installed before this play was a few clothes, which aren't used on this lot, and I don't think CC would create this problem, anyway. I have no UI mods (including CAS screens, etc.) Closest I have is one to brighten up Bodyshop.

Sys specs, if needed:

I still have to game open, so I'm going to keep messing with it a while, see if I have a stroke of brilliance. Figures I didn't get to save. Thanks for any help!

Did you also try hitting Esc and F10?

Wow, now I feel stupid. I just needed to press F10. Should this thread be deleted?

and then I get sniped twice, probably telling me just that

Yeah, it's fixed. Thank you anyway!

No, don't delete it. Other people with the same problem will be quietly grateful that you actually asked the question first.

I am Ghost. My husband (who made the account because I was too shy) is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.
