Just some Ideas I have been working on if anyone is interested.

Idea one:
So far I have figured out how to make inges school set so it can work on community lots and inges meeting controllers. I'm using these for daycare, elementary, middle and high school. I'm now working on a way to try and figure out how to get the parents to come and take them home (if that isn't possible I can always pretend and teleport the parents in and out), assign homework using recolored useable books (the books are my main problem because I have yet to find a book mesh to recolor that is usable). I was going to have the parents pay using a check or moniques bank mod. I was going to use the community time project mod to try and keep track of their time away from home so I can still play the household without them there.

Idea two:
When sims break up their marriages they get divorced. I figured why not have them get lawyers to even divorce each other so they know who gets what and custody if thier are children or pets. So far I have just been using the I object podium that came with the game for the lawyers to "state their cases" and have the clients sit at a table behind them. I have a "judge" who is the mayor of my town decide what is fair (meaning I decide who gets what in the end). Also since Inge has a jail set I use that for enforcing laws in the town like fire starting, neglect, indecent exposure, underage drinking, illegal substances, fighting, stealing, and murder. I either have them go to jail or do therapy whatever fits their case in that moment. For therapy I have them study those books like anger management, or couples counseling (mandatory before being able to get a divorce), parenting book {before any child can get taken away and sent to the orphange (the orphanage is where sims go when i use the hospital mod to give away children that they don't want or if they are just bad parents I send them to a house I created and appeals can be made)}. The lawyers get paid with moniques bank mod or I use a check.

Idea three:
A modeling agency. I can have a sim own it and then interview potential candidates. Once the choice has been made after they show their catwalk, give a portfolio, and works shows their speech skills, then they can model clothes from a fashion designer (custom clothes) and do ads for businesses. Also beauty pageants where it can range from toddlers and up. They demonstrate a skill, model clothes, and if they win get a prize.

Idea four:
Have community events!
Like a potluck where everyone will bring a dish they made at home.
Celebrate the fourth of july with fireworks and food.
Throw a ball where sims dress up in formal go to a ballroom where there will be food, dancing, and an all around good time.
Have family reunions.
Throw babyshowers.
Have bachelor and bachelorett parties.

Idea five:
Business owners have teenagers and young adults come work for them part time so they can get some experience and money for when they are adults so they can be ahead of the game.

I like your ideas-how do you use the controllers on a community lot? Do you have someone buy the lot and then have them run it as the 'daycare' 'school', etc?
I also like your idea about the 'divorce,' and custody agreements. It's pretty hard to set up something like that without all of the controllers-I've got all of them, but haven't used the 'meeting' one yet.
PC sims (now defunct) used to have an entire 'courthouse' set that I've never been able to find-not even on the graveyard.

I have the sims own the business and I set up the controllers by using sims 2 catergorizer.
The meting one is simple you just pick who you want there and push start meeting to make them appear and be selectable and when your done push end meeting and then i use simblender to clear them off the lot.
I have searched for that courtroom mod but no such luck this way either which really sucks because I would love to have it I wish anybody who did have it would upload it so we can use it
