I have installed a bad CC clothing that does not appear in CAS, it makes the body disappear and change the color of the rest of the sim. I don't remember the exact filename of the sims3pack because I have installed them by batch. How do I know which file should I remove? Please help. |

Oh let me gaze into my crystal ball...... (polishes crystal ball and stares at it intently)...... nope I cant see a thing. Perhaps you could post a screenshot or two of the issue so others might recognize it and help you out. There is not an easy solution to removing such things from the launcher. While we're at it, are you sure this a launcher installed item? You've already looked through the installed content in the launcher and been unable to find it? Sometimes creators are a bit lax on providing a good icon and/or description for the item and they can be difficult to find. If you absolutely cant find it in the launcher, you could go to the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder and delete the DCCache and DCBackup folders. This will remove all installed content by the launcher. Then open the launcher and check your Downloads and attempt to reinstall your items, keeping a close eye on what you install. |

The loong and tedious method: see http://my.modthesims.info/showpost....141&postcount=4 If it is not showing in the Installed Content and hiding within a Sims3Pack, then you're out of luck. You need to know which Sim or Household the glitched CC hitchhiked in, in order to uninstall that particular Sim/Household. Try this guide http://crinrict-help.blogspot.com/2...n-download.html Renaming the folders as werismyki suggested and reinstalling might be quicker. You have to check them in CUSTARD before you install them... |

The glitched CC is an adult male top and there might be a few more. I discovered them in create-a-sim. I don't know which one of the tops because I have installed them by batch. I am well aware it was installed through the launcher because I moved my mods/packages folder to desktop and it is still there. It also has a small plumbob icon instead of a folder. |
