I understand that maybe it's a bit too flashy, and I'm already trying to make up for that.
I've been told that the skirt is a bit too flat (I'm thinking of replacing that one with photoskinning) and the socks could use some textures. But I have absolutely no idea how I could texture them. Any help is appreciated

I think the skirt looks good! I might try and tone down the green a bit, if you can. Also, I can't help on how, but maybe... I don't know... filling out the shoes? I'm sorry, my forte is houses, but that's what I see! Overall, it looks pretty good though!
