I am after the painting where you change make all happy, edit your job and school levels etc. I had it before but lost it. Does anyone know where I can find it. I forget what its called.

you don't have to find it again..just press shift+ctrl+c, when a box opens type the following code:
for the sims 2: boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
for the sims 3:testingCheatsenabled true
after shift and click on the mailbox you can make need s static and choose a job and its level and many other things

However, if you're looking for mods, the place to go is the "Where Can I Find" forum, under the Help menu We really shouldn't be helping you here at all! The info that comes up when you start a thread tells you where you can post stuff.
