Can I host a server for me and my friend so we can play the same family online together?

No, I don't believe it is, Dutch1991.

Trackmarked amoeba lands craft. Cartwheel of scratches. Dress the tapeworm as pet. Tentacles smirk please, flinch the cacooned meat. Infra-recon forget.
Gestating with all the other rats. Nurse said that my skin might need a graft. I'm the most pockmarked shapes, that vermin you need to loathe.

You could, however, compress the save file for your world (and use no custom content or all the same custom content) and put it up on Rapidshare or email it (depending on the size of the file) and trade it back and forth. There's probably also a way to do a shared Dropbox, too, which might be the easiest. You'd just want to not both play at once but take turns, so the files would be "synced."
