I sent a sim to France and, as usual, the initial camera sweep over the city started. During the sweep though, I noticied I could click on the adventure board, so I clicked on it and the camera abruptly jerked to my sim. I clicked on the board again and accepted the first mission (the burial mound with the lost baseball) and then I noticied that the bar on the bottom was totally blue, my sim's need were hidden, all her wishes were gone, including her lifetime wish, her moodlets panel was blank, her mood meter thing was stuck most of the way full, and when the mouse was hovered over the time, it stated Day 0 of 3 and remained that way even after the clock passed midnight.

Despite this, I could still play, and deciding my save was a lost cause anyway, I might as well explore this glitch further. So, I used the map marker to find the adventure starter and that worked as normal, so I headed off to the tomb to see what that was like.

This was my first time to France on this save so it was kind of surprising to see all the rooms unveiled (despite the doors to them still being locked), including some that I'd never seen before, even on my other saves. With no needs to weigh her down, my sim plowed through the dungeon, quickly reaching the end and the goal object. Along the way, I could pick up regular items, but though I could have my sim open chests, I couldn't access my inventory panel so I couldn't get anything out of them.

My sim randomly complained about being tired (her mood meter hadn't budged this entire time), so I had her nap in the tent nearby, just in case. When she awoke, I sent her out of the tomb and back towards the target person.

She complained of hunger though and I decided this was as good a time as any to try to travel home. That worked fine and once home, everything was back to normal, and every item she'd picked up in the tomb was safely in her inventory.

Not reporting this as a bug, since whatever it was seemed to have worked itself out and I'm pretty sure I somehow interrupted the loading of everything. But has anyone else experienced this oddity before? I tried to prtscrn a screenshot, but of course, that didn't work. Shoulda just hit c, but I wasn't sure if that'd capture the UI or not.
