Part of customization in the Sims is NON DEFAULT skin. I see so many beautiful skins but I can't install them because when I go to 'UI Mod--CAS Basics--See Your Non-Default Skintones' I cannot view it. It says I do not have the permissions for it???

This is my new account, because I forgot my old one I used to use a long long time ago.

I'd be really happy to get non-default skins. PLEASE help!! ^_^ :p

You do not need any mod for non-default skins. Just use your mouse's scroll wheel to scroll through the skins (there won't be a scroll bar but you can still scroll). On a laptop, use the right-side of the trackpad to scroll up and down. That mod is no longer necessary or available as it is outdated and wouldn't work anyway (and would just cause problems for your game).

I really appreciate the fast answer. I thought this was vital to skins because everyone still links this Mod for some odd reason, unless I'm looking at very old content. ty!

I tried downloading a couple of towns (like from GLachaille) and I get a 403 Forbbiden screen. Whats with that?

Which towns did you try to download? Links, please.

I only updated game to patch 1.2.7., I don't want to update to any newer patches, so I'm asking, can I have non-default skins or not?
