It's much easier to just kill them, unless you've got some really compelling reason to want to delete them entirely. |

It's even easier not to generate them in the first place. That's why people use clean or empty neighborhood templates and no-regen hacks. To help guide you, we may need to know more about which sims you want to remove from your game. |

OK, neither of my most recent suggestions will help with sims that you create yourself. My initial suggestion (the link from MATY) or killing them is the way to go. |

Romance sims don't cause children against the player's will. Even with mods that take it out of your micromanagement, there's built-in ways to turn them off. Without mods, you won't get a baby unless the woman is controllable and you Try for Baby. And if you leave an unemployed sim in the Family Bin, you'll never see him during the game. So the only real annoyance is that you know he's sitting there in the family bin. |

All you can do is the best you can do. (My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.) |

You could also convert unwanted sims into townies. |

you need Simblender, go to simbology and become a member then search for it. | |

Once you've townified them, you can also make them over, change their names and clothes, aspirations, etc, etc, and zingo! : Brand New Sim. Almost. |

You can also use the teleporters at Simlogical. I find they are more useful for general gameplay anyway. - VT |

You can do it three ways easily to my knowledge: 1. Use the transporter cat from Simlogical (for which you don't need to register) 2. Use Simblender from Simbology (for which you need to register) 3. Use the townie gun available while in Debug Mode* (boolprop testingcheatsenabled true) - shift-clicking on the mailbox to find the option to spawn it (no extra download necessary). *If you are not used to using Debug Mode, be careful and don't press any options you don't understand. If you're nervous, back up your game first. |

I've read bad things about option 3 (the EA townie gun). Does anyone know whether it causes any problems in your game? |

Never has for me. The thing about the cat and simblender is that, AFAIAA anyway, they just enable the townie gun coding, just as inSim enables Debug Mode (or part of it anyway). Maybe it's the same sort of bad things you hear about Debug Mode (since it's part of it). |

I'm sorry for sounding noob...but what is a "sims bin"? I have an idea but i am not sure. Is it the selection of sims that you get when in neighborhood mode? Or is it the phone book that pops up when you dial the phone? |

Yes, sorry, I call it that because that's what EAxis people called it. It was a tool designed by them to debug the game (d'oh) as they made it (pity they didn't do a better job but that's another topic). I forget to add the bit about the actual cheat code. Sorry again - habit. |
