I am trying to make home videos. The battery is flashing. How do charge the battery? Any help would be appreciated!!

I didn't really experiment with camcorders yet, but I've read somewhere that "battery life" depends on its price and whether you have actual disk space to save your movie. I may be totally wrong however.

My sims battery is always flashing but it doesn't seem to matter, they have the expensive one, i haven't seen any options to charge it or anything but nothings happened to it yet so i just ignored it.
