I'm trying to make a bed with a custom frame, maxis mattress and pillow, but no blanket. I want it to keep the morphing/animation of the mattress (I'm aware that sleeping anims will look weird, but I've got some custom bedding deco that I want to use instead). The pillow is a separate mesh, so that's not a problem, and I know I can use an edited obj of the mattress, but the sims sink down into it while relaxing on the bed as it doesn't have animation/morphing. The problem is that I get an error every time I try to import the GMDC of the bedding part into Milkshape. I don't have troubles with the frame part (as obj) or the bedding as obj, or most other GMDC files. Just bedding as GMDC (.5gd). Is it even possible to import it? If so, how? I first get a box saying "create blend groups?" - I've tried both yes and no. The error comes whatever I choose, and says: "ERR: Too many morph targets to process" Thanks for any help

You normally want to import the blend groups, but it sounds like that mesh might be too complex for the Milkshape plugin to handle. (Morph targets are the way that the bed animates) All I can really suggest is making sure that you've got the most recent version of the plugin? |
