I made some rug recolours for myself which turned out nicely and I decided to upload them. I've been taking pictures in game. I decided to take pictures of the rugs outdoors because the lighting is generally better. First I noticed that the colours were rather dim when I tried to take an overhead photo and then I ran into this: ![]() Can you see the problem? When I move the camera around a shadow moves across the ground. Under the shadow, the rug colours are dim. I can't take an overhead photo because it's always shadowed. Appears to be anywhere on the lot. This is an old test lot BTW. Does anyone know what the issue is and how I can resolve it? Seems not to be a problem when indoors but that ... kind of defeats the point. |

I believe this is caused by HugeLunatic's rug fix, which, ironically, allows rugs to be placed off-grid without strange shadows. That, or a CC rug was made using the method she describes here. What mesh is it? |

Even EAxis rugs do this when using my mod. I think it might be the shadow mesh that causes it, since my mod doesn't allow those objects to sink into the floor. If those are not game rugs, could you please link to the cc mesh? I'd suggest taking pics inside, with walls filled with windows and good lighting. |
