I have the following problem: whenever I want in the CAW Terraint "paint", it crashes. There is always the message that is attempting to write to protected memory.
I have downloaded LAA, so that the CAW tool can now use more than 2 GB of memory. But it's still not enough. It all goes well, but only up to the point where I Aumale the Terraint.

My game is up to date, the tool also. I have no downloads in the game, my game folder is completely empty, since it applies only to use the tool and I have to play to its own folder.
I have updated all drivers. I have 8 GB of memory and a Radeon HD 6000 graphics card.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

Dupli, what EPs and SPs do you have?

There is a known problem with the latest version of CAW if you don't have Generations and Town Life. See here for details, and perhaps try some of the suggestions if they pertain to your problem:
