I'm using a Custom World (Glendalough - a really great world, btw!). I wanted one of my sims to be a Doctor (one of the professions listed in tha Ambitions booklet). However, everytime I have her search the professions, the Doctor never comes up. I sent her to the local hospital to "...apply to be a doctor, stat!" as the booklet says, but could only join the normal medical career. Why isn't the Doctor profession showing in the game?

Why isn't the Doctor profession showing in the game?

There's not a new medical career in Ambitions. They just expanded the actual medical career. When you reach level 4 or 5 (can't remember exactly) you get new opportunities to host vaccination clinics, house calls and things like that.

LadyKombucha Lab Assistant Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 150	i remember the first time i played my medic sim after ambitions, i didn't know about it and when it came up job to do i was like O_O found it rather annoying actually, i just ignored them and did my regular shifts.

It really cracked me up, when my sim was doing the free clinic diagnosis on another sim - at the cemetery - and after the examination he kicked her in the leg and then announced that she has the flu. I'd like to see my doctor try that one.
