What is your favorite song that is by a relatively unknown artist, and is about a weird topic?

Mine is:
The Wizard of Cupcake Mountain
video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POHr...feature=related
so, what is yours, and use mine as an example of what I mean

I can't decide!

Laurie ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0N4nyYS5aA) - a dead teenager song

~ and ~ DOA ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O79EN3z6IpU ) - also on the topic of death

The Titanic Song because it's a gruesome subject and such a happy tune ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_1J...feature=related) We used to sing it faster and with a happy little echo at camp.

~ and~ Well, he's well-known, but it's one of the silliest of songs ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mcMApFCQkk) - he loves his laundry

~ and~ The best of all - Banana Phone! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5C6X9vOEkU)

BTW, I meant the song itself, not the music video

Kid songs are often wonderfully weird. Isn't the song you mentioned about the cupcakes a kid song?

Ok, I checked out tiny pants. I loved the first comment on Youtube "Its like Johnny Cash and a bunch of mice". Actually, it sounds a tad like Elvis.

For some of mine:
Gay Boyfriend
Plastic Surgery Slumber Party
Malconstruction-this one is more of a fan-based one- it's a song made from audio clips of Red vs. Blue's sixth season, Reconstruction.
A Girl Named Tex also from Red vs Blue, but is actually used in the show, not fan-made.
and the last one is the incredibly sweet Gay Pirates

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the mods moved this to the media section, since it's about songs. Not snitching or anything, I'm just saying, people might want to start checking there in the future. Heads up and all.

No, it sounds like a kids song, but it just is Parry Gripp (parrygripp.com). all of his songs are like that

Here's another Parry Gripp that is a bit more twisted
Robot Dog is Coming Home

It's surreal. It's like he's writing fantasy fiction in song.

true, but only some of his songs are like that, but robot dog is coming home is one of the best examples of this

EDIT: here is a example of a more nonsensical song by him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDU0CTDMk2g It is called do you like waffles

Very nice and the video is great too.

Ok, if we're bringing up tv shows and silly songs, how can you beat "They Got the Mustard Out?" and "Parking Ticket" from Buffy The Musical? (I could almost list the entire episode, but some of the songs are sad.)

Definitely Cups and Cakes. It's just so random. I love adding that song onto the end of my setlists in Rock Band.

Remember "Fish Heads" by Barnes and Barnes.
That was pretty weird. And it is unforgettable :-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTpUVAcvWfU

the music part doesn't start till a little after two minutes into the video.
