The last time I played Sims Medieval the game crashed and I lost about an hours worth of gameplay (unsure as to why it crashed). I've just gone back on to play and discovered that the docks have disappeared! The blue circle saying 'Docks' can still be seen when in Kingdom Mode but there is no image.

I'm currently in the middle of the 'Evolution of Chinchilla' quest and my blacksmith needs to meet the mystic at the docks, but because there is no docks the mystic hasn't moved from the woods and has no available interactions. And so I can't progress the quest.

I've tried restarting the game numerous times with no joy, and unfortunately I saved the game before realising the docks were missing so the backup file will be the new bugged version. I'm not sure what else to do to fix the problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Nicola

Very strange. Have you tried cancelling the quest in the kingdom screen and starting a new quest to see if that fixes the 'missing docks' issue? Obviously, it would be great if you didn't have to lose the progress you already made in that quest, but at least the dock might be 'repaired.'

Also, in case you didn't already know. Grim has an auto-save mod that automates the whole thing.

Have just tried cancelling the quest but still no docks

I started a new game to see whether the docks were missing from that too, however they are there. So its looking like I'm going to have to restart the game.

Thanks for the quick response tho

Before you start a new kingdom, have you tried deleting the cache files?
