Hello there, I'm in need of some help. About a month or so ago I FINALLY got my Sims 3 Generations game working perfectly since Late Night had been screwing my game up since I first bought it. Now I just received the Sims 3: Pets Limited Edition through Amazon a couple of days ago and I've noticed some odd animations happening. Specifically with Dining Chairs and Cars I've gotten from the Store. At first when my Sims get into a car and began driving, the car's wheels wouldn't move at all, it would just skid across the ground, wiggling as it went. Now it sometimes bypasses showing the car driving at all. My Sim gets in and the car turns for a second and suddenly I'm at my destination, the car at a bizarre angle. It's like I just teleported. As for the dining chairs, my sim will go to sit down and the chair won't move, but my Sim will be acting like it is. They'll sit down, half in the chair and half floating above the ground. I have no idea what's causing this so I'm hoping someone will help me. ALSO: a this is another problem I've been having, has anyone else not been able to change the style of their corner counters and islands? It's only with Store counters I've downloaded that when I go to make an 'L' shape, the counters will default to the original color and I can't do anything. I click on it and it says 'Cannot change Style' |

Pets changed the format of some game resources, and the result is that CC and Store content is broken. You should have been offered a patch (ingame) for the Store stuff, which would fix that content, but not everyone did... I don't know if there's any way of downloading the content patch manually if you didn't get it automatically. The counter corners thing is a known bug with CC, caused by the counters having been made with buggy tools, but I've not heard of it in Store counters. You haven't recompressorised them or something, have you? |

:/ Well dang, they only put a patch out for some people? Way to go EA. -_- Do you happen to know the name of it? I'll look around for it. As for the counters, I don't believe I did. I'll poke around with them and see. Thanks! |

Feeling like a bit of a chat about creation or just... whatever (not necessarily sims)?
