Is it something to do with free will? My game is 'not broken' because I don't have any mods. The problem is I am getting frustrated with them standing around stinking and not going into the shower (they just stall and don't move, eating up valuable time). The same goes for them being put to bed. They are cranky but just STAND there.

Is there any fix for this? I am getting frustrated.

If you don't have any mods, then your game probably is broken. This is TS3, after all.

However, in this case it sounds like the delay is caused by the game trying to load the outfit the sim is changing into. Pausing for a few seconds will allow the game time to load the outfit, then when you unpause, the sim should change straight away.

Thank you both. I will adjust the free will a bit and try what you suggested.
