I was looking for one but all i got was advice on how to turn the plumbbob off.
Besides that some say the plumbbob is gone while others say only the text balloons dissapear.

Anyway, i made one using a placeholder for the mesh and included the file in mod on the plumbbob effect.
I dont like typing every cheat so i am very happy with it.

How are you guys handling that plumbbob and is my file worth a upload?
It does however include a _SWB file(effects) so you can have only one installed(works like a replacement)


About the files:
Bloom_NOPlumbbob_placeholder.package: this is only a meshreplacement, it replaces the plumbbob mesh with a invisible placeholder.
When installing this file you will need velocitygrass's program from this thread: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=446536
and create your own Noeffects file(and include the plumbbob effects)
You can install it next to the Bloom_NOplumbbob_placeholder file

Noeffects.package: this is both a placeholder for the plumbbob mesh and a _SWB file with the following effects disabled:
You do not need the NOplumbbob_placeholder file if you install this one but you then can not install other package files that contain _SWB(effect) files

Ok got some feedback for you. Unless I read things wrong and i needed both files, the no effects one does not stop the pets items that sparkle from not sparkling. I have way more mods then is senseable to list but not sure any should have conflicted.

If you already made a no effects file once with Velocity's mod(or any other effect replacement file) then just one will be used.

If so, you need to create a new one were you combine the effects you do not want.
It does work on Pets tho, not only for me.
