Is there a way to keep a cat sim a cat when they become a witch or Warlock or is that not even possible? Just asking.

A Cat Sim is a sim that looks like a cat with cat claws and etc. I have no idea.

I think you may be in the wrong forum. To get a sim like that in Sims2, you'd have to have CC that made the human look feline, and whether these features were retained would depend on whether the visible witch traits replaced the feline traits, which would be an issue to take up with the creator.

I believe the latest Sims3 EP includes animal-like people, but you'd have to ask about them in the Sims3 forum.

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)

Does the OP perhaps have the skins from Genemsims...? If so (or some other custom skin anyway), I'm pretty sure the witch overlays have no problem going on top of them. I've certainly not had any problems with more normal-looking custom skins. Otherwise, whaaaa...?

Hey, I have an idea, what if Susan B. Anthony came back from the dead? No? Then how 'bout she starts eating people...

That's just about how much sense you're making right now.

From what I understand you have a skin on a sim that makes it look like a cat, but in a more human form. You are worried that if you let your sim with a cat skin become a witch/warlock that you will loose the cat skin?

If so then yes, my customs skins (like your cat skin) and normal skins change to the witch/warlock skin when they make that transition.

No I do not know how to stop/change the skin once they become a witch/warlock.

Oh Noes Not Another Blog! - where you can see my awful custom content and horrible attempts at challenges, storytelling and picture taking.
Not much up there right now, this is only the beginning! :D

I don't really understand what the OP is talking about, but could it be about spectral cats? These ones you can't keep unless your witch never leaves the lot for work and always takes the cat with her when she goes to the community lots. If she goes to work, the cat will disappear.

Would a no witch overlay perhaps be what you are looking for? Like this? http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=299163 These are wonderful--but you have to follow the instructions or you'll think they didn't work right on your already existing witches.

Not sure if this is what you wanted to know. But if a Sim reaches a certain level of witchiness or warlockness, around 6 or 7 out of 10, s/he can cast a spell that creates a cat familiar. The Sim I made of my husband is studying on doing this now ...

HP has a mod that allows Sims to keep their skintone when becoming a witch/warlock.
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=299163
It works with all skins, Maxis, default, custom, etc... Should be what you're looking for.
