Hello all!

This is a working title because I made this house with Agnes Crumplebottom in mind. This is also a first house that I'm really satisfied with.

From the outside it's a three-story red brick house, and from the inside everything is black and white. Most of the rooms are furnished so far, the only things inside that are not black&white are a few non-CAStable items plus plants (they're green, yeah).

Created with base game + ambitions.

Below you will find pictures: front view, first floor layout, roof and living room. If you are interested, I can post pictures of other rooms too.

I would like your feedback on how you like the house so far, is this house too-Agnesian or can you picture a Sim family living in it, what would you change and why, is the black&white idea too depressing; etc. Anything else that comes to mind, please share.

Thank you very much for your time.

The roof color is rather offputting. Red house, different red roof. I suggest trying out some different roof colors to see what looks best with that style house. Also, just curious but, why are there bushes inside?

The bushes inside... Well, I wanted to place some shrubbery on the rooftop (I've seen it on a RL house once, they had even small trees up there), so I've used "move objects" cheat - now the bushes are eternally floating no matter what floor you're on - I'm rethinking the whole idea.

Roof color - noted!

I think that you've done a great job with the house's exterior style. It looks very cozy and a nice house for a sim family to live in

However, I think that the black and white theme that you used in the furnishings doesn't really match the house's exterior theme. In my opinion warm colours (possibly brown in different shades, yellow, red and orange) and maybe a slightly less modern style for the furniture would suit the house better.

What was the Crumplebottom thing again. Did she have black and white interiour? You can't have those bushes floating in mid air. The game may always ground those plants kind of. Silly, but still natural. Nice house. I don't know if I agree on the roof needing another color. The color of the roof will make or brake that house, but you may find something good.

Agnes Crumplebottom wears only black and her house is done in a black and white style so I went with that. I'm thinking of making another version of the house, with different furnishings, to accommodate non-weird Sims

The roof - I've checked lots of red-brick houses, here on MTS and ingame, and mostly they have dark (black) roof, so basically every time I go to change something in the house, I change the roof to see what would look the best. Still undecided.

Got rid of the floating bushes and put decorative plants, but it's a shame Sims can't have rooftop gardens with small shrubbery.

Thanks for the feedback, will post new pictures when I make more changes.

I really like this house
With the roof, can you show us a picture with some darker/black roofs? This way we can compare.

Also, what size is the lot?

The lot size is 40x30.

Here's with a dark roof:

With that roof it looks like a toyhouse. There is something unreal about it.

The colors don't fit well. Red brick, light brown doors and windows, black roof with white line underneath: The contrast is a bit extreme, therefore making it look surreal. Try white / black doors / windows - or a lighter roof, that matches? =)

Still struggling with CAW :x

UPDATE: Production halted for now. New version of Wine messed up the game, and until I fix this problem, I cannot play Sims.

Hi! If you go back to this project here's a little feedback
I love the outside, and I love the inside, but it doesn't work together, to be honest, the outside of the house should be more modern, maybe pale blue or lilac or even white. Also: The doors and windows, they don't really fit together, I understand how you planned it and such, but still.

If I saw the inside of the house and not the outside , I'd think it was amazing, and If I saw just the outside of the house and not the inside, I'd think it was amazing. Like I said
before, not together.
