I need some

When I click the install button for my custom content on the sims 3 game launcher it says this.
"Windows cannot acess the specified device path or file you may not have the apporpriate permissions to acess the item"

Should I make a new folder, or do something else? I don't want to reinstall all my sims games it is a pain!
Thanks for helping me,
Hailey

I'm a little confused. What file extensions does your custom content have? Only .sims3pack files should go through the launcher. .Package files you have to install a different way.

Here are some guides that might help you out.

For future reference, this goes in the "help" forum.
