OK look, I know that I've found many pages that explain how to fix this. Go on enabled TestingCheats, yada yada yada. But I've done all that, and it works, because I can drag my needs up and teleport all that. But when I shift+click and/or shift+ctrl+click on him, there is no option where it says "Object". In "Object" I know you can click force reset, but the only option when I shift+click and/or shift+ctrl+click him, there is only "Set Relationship" or something like that... I honestly don't know why it's like that, but he's just standing there. I can buy on the lot with TestingCheats, and move him with "MoveObjects" but to no avail. He stays the same. My hero sims cannot interact with him, however, I can get the circle with "Friendly", "Mean" and others. But in the top left corner, it says that is what my hero will do. So anyone who knows the answer please tell me. And by the way, I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if this is where I should be putting this -.- and if it isn't tell me for future reference. if everything else fails, start the quest over. sometimes bugs happen.

No it's been going on for a while now, about 5 quests ago. None of them required him, so I ignored it, hoping that eventually he'd be able to do stuff... Ever since I sent one person to the pit, he was just getting ready to throw the guy in, and then BAM! He freezes, and the sim who was going to be the Pit Beast's delightful dinner walks away because the constable just randomly froze... I put it off, but now I'm in a quest where he's supposed to arrest me, but he can't, because he's stuck in the same spot...

I am uploading the latest patch, perhaps because I was on the first version (I think) it might have reduced the amount of ShiftClick options available. Hopefully I'll be able to reset the Constable and do my quest in peace...

Sorry for disturbing everyone... It all was the patch version I had, once I got the latest one, it was all fine. I really feel right now...

I didn't want to insult by towing my personal party line of "Did you update yet" but that's usually my go to answer. glad you got it figured out.
