If you have SimPE you can look it up. I don't have SimPE installed anymore since I switched over to Sims 3.

He's not playable therefore like Mrs Crumplebottom they're objects and don't have the same data as regular sims. If it were possible I would see him as knowledge though.

You might try waiting more than half an hour before you get impatient about it.

Whether or not Grim has an aspiration is a complete non-issue, since he/she should NEVER EVER EVER be made playable, not even just for fun in a test 'hood - unless you're looking to reinstall your entire game.

If you want to create a Grim look-alike in CAS to play, you can assign whatever aspiration makes sense to you, or to your storyline.

By that screenshot I'd think either pleasure or romance.

Maybe even popularity. He is a Taurus.

I wonder if I'll actually start posting here. Ha.

My playable (CAS) Grim Reaper is a Knowledge sim, with a Taurus personality that's as close to the 5/5/5/5/5 personality seen in the Reaper's file in SimPE as I could make it. I picked Knowledge because it "worked" best: it didn't seem right for the Reaper to fear ghosts or the unknown.

He's been a really funny sim and is the ditziest Knowledge sim I've ever seen. He pets skunks, juggles coffee cups, and loves to dance. He shows up at practically every welcome wagon -- since everyone meets him at least once in their life -- and lets almost any sim hug him. It's not surprising that his reputation level is the entirely fitting "Sociable Celebrity." His cellphone is usually ringing with calls from friends.

I've also got a pair of playable Hula Zombies that are Pleasure sims. They're ditzier than their boss and spend most of their time in a fawning orbit around him, congratulating him for everything from getting married to Olive, to just making friends with the townsfolk, and anything else they can think up. ("You just pet a skunk? Awesome job stinking, Boss!")

^ OMG, I so want a playable Reaper now. Since I have a boatload of zombies in my game at the moment, it seems only fitting. 'Cuz this 'hood is totally going in weird directions...

Redmond Flats, my eleventy-th stab at a "Build A City" challenge. Unfortunately, I didn't keep up with documenting it. But you can find rules and tracking spreadsheets and stuff there.
For stuff what I've made, there's my LJ. There be downloads there, some of which aren't/won't be here on MTS.

@simsample- I thought that that window told about the sim that just died? My friend and I made a haunted house which involved killing about 30 sims and that showed up every time and (i think) with sim's personality in the window. I could be wrong tho

the only time I ever saw that window was when the last member of a household died. as soon as you hit 'ok' it exits without saving....does anyone know of a way to NOT exit without saving? what if you wanted that last member to pass away peacefully & alone in the house she was born in?

It shouldn't exit without saving... In the house we played we usually made one sims households and killed each one off so that's why we saw it a lot. The sim was always dead when it brought us to the 'hood tho.

In my game, Grim is a knowledge aspiration. Very studious guy, that one. BTW, there is a downloadable Grim Reaper here:
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=196699

Have to remember, though, that he's invisible and it takes some getting used to that-but he does work!

Hula Zombies? Playable? Hmmm...interesting idea-but I'd rather have the Hula girls instead.

The hula girls are the Hula Zombies If you mouse over them, you'll see that their name is "Hula Zombie." Since they predate the University expansion, they don't have the zombie "look." (Though my playables do: I made them in a boolpropped CAS, so they have the zombie skintone without the zombie walk and personality.)

I used a slightly-modified version of Celesta's so-called "hottie" Grim Reaper (whose features are similar to Nervous's) to create my playable Grim Reaper. This one doesn't have the invisible skintone, but that can be fixed by downloading these invisible genetics from MTS and using those. (And you can avoid the total invisibility issue by downloading the Reaper costume available at TSR. It's available for all clothing modes; you can even download the lei version for formalwear )

The Grim Reaper in my game is on vacation, so he's sporting a different look than his "work uniform." He thinks he blends in with the locals. (Here's a shot of him being his usual ditzy self while Olive cooks something dubious to serve to the headmaster. Their then-teenaged daughter Asphodel didn't get into private school, by the way, and the poor headmaster looked more and more disturbed as the dinner progressed. I've never seen the 10-points-nice smile look so uncomfortable before!)

Also, the Grim Reaper's bio (in The Sims 2).

In the game files of The Sims 2, his gender is set to female. This is because as a special "non-social" NPC his gender is irrelevant to his function.

If you pause the game while Grim is present, and click on him, then make him selectable...his bio will show up under the usual place.

Just be sure to unselect him when you're done.

Bachelor of Arts. It's an American University degree. Graduate from a two-year college, you get an Associate's degree; from a four-year you get a Bachelor's. There's two kinds, Bachelor of Science (BS) for a major classified as a science, Bachelor of Arts for everything else.

If you stay in school past that, you get post-graduate degrees: Master's, and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy).

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)
