Let's say I make a recolor of something, and I want to upload it to MTS... is it important that I get a Fresh, new GUID for that recolor in order for people to use it without any trouble or conflict? And if I DO need a unique GUID even for recolors (or if it's highly suggested) could someone send me to a good tutorial for obtaining and using unique GUID codes??? All help greatly appreciated!!! Thanks guys. |

GUIDs are one thing that makes meshes unique. You never get "fresh" GUIDs when recoloring. When recoloring what makes it unique is the internal name, which SimPE does automatically when you choose to recolor a mesh. That's the little box that pops up that has a name already filled in. Whether or not your username/nick is included depends on if you filled out the ident information in preferences. Otherwise it's jumble of numbers/letters. |

Ah! ok. Thanks. I'm considering becoming a creator with more product than one simple CAS ya know? So I figured it was important to know. I know SOME things absolutely require new GUIDs... so I wasn't sure. Thanks so much!! |
