if you click the light in the Misc tab you already see the angle(beam) and the outline.
Depending how many lights there are you select the one you want to edit in the top box.
The 2nd option is the sort light(point/spot/area etc) you want on your object.
Also picking a color is possible in the right upper corner.

Optional are the occluders at the bottom.

If you have nothing to start with you can clone another light and export the LITE file under project contents.
You right click the file and choose edit in s3PE.
In S3PE you can export the file.
Open your own custom object and do the same exept that you do not export but replace the file with the earlier exported one.
No need to say you do need to install s3PE:

Thanks I was messing around with it a bit and got the jist of things.
Have any Idea as to what might be causing this ?

:?
The light is to the right were the footprint thing is.

Edit I think it might be the color in the misc tab.
I just took a look at it and it was grey. I guess I changed it by mistake.

Might be a tsrw error that although the color is there it will not work properly ingame yet...
Haven't tested it myself.

I think it was doing that with the "spot "type chosen.
