Hi im new to the forums and I have been thinking that with the new add on packs what EA bring out that they should be a wider variety of jobs.

For example I am a IT Technician and there is no jobs computer related.... Sure there is science and I suppose business can be computer related. But I personally think there should be a career path for IT Geeks and such...
this could be the career path title:

1. Computer Beginner
2. Trainee Technician
3. Senior Technician
4. Master Problem Solver
5. Games Tester (Game Branch) Team Leader (Hardware Branch)
6. Animator (Game Branch) Right Hand Technician (Hardware Branch)
7. Graphic Designer (Game Branch) Head Technician (Hardware Branch)
8. Level Designer (Game Branch) Computer Constructor (Hardware Branch)
9. Team Leader (Game Branch) Pro Geek (Hardware Branch)
10. Games Producer (Game Branch) God of Geeks (Hardware Branch)

These are just some rough ideas, what came to me as I wrote them...

What do you guys think???

More jobs require more sims for coworkers.

Sounds like you have good ideas for new careers - why not make some?

Yes, it is unfortunate "Williham" decided not keep their "IT Career" mod up-to-date, it sounds pretty close to your example (minus the extra branch).

As for custom careers, have you checked out this selection ? http://www.modthesims.info/browse.p...showType=1&gs=2

(And yes, I am quite proud of what other users have created using my base-mod)

I would like more careers, but as Robodl95 pointed out, that wood require more sims as coworkers. Sadly, my computer can't handle large nh's and there's just about enough to fill in as it is. I miss ts2 townies

the game needs more normal jobs like factory workers, full time shop and spar jobs as well as like a part time waiter job at the restaurant and maybe a part time cleaner at the office building or school.
