For all of you who celebrate Christmas, what was the best present you got? Why? For me, its the laptop that i'm using right now  It's a bit old because it was my Grandpas but i don't care, as long as it will play TS2 (it's installing right now!)

I got a Kindle Fire. It's basically like an iPad that's more geared toward ebooks, but still has apps and internet access and so forth. It's pretty awesome.

I got a Nook Tablet - I only wanted an ereader because there are a lot of free ebooks I want to download, but I don't have a laptop and I hate reading on the PC. And also I'm getting Windows 7 because of which my husband sent me this annoying Christmas carol - A Hacker's Christmas Song |

Other then money, XD, my favorite gifts this year was the capsule toy figures Gomora in which he is destroying Osaka (sp?) castle, and one of Ultraman Jack cutting Bemstar to peices. I also got a really nice sweater jacket; I always wanted a sweater jacket. *Note: If you watch the linked videos, Ultraman (Gomora) aired from 1966–1967, and Ultraman Jack aired from 1971–1972 so yeah it's ol' school. |

Half a new laptop (my parents paid half, I paid the other half) - Asus G53S, which we got for about $500 off retail I like it so far... my old one is a several years old HP Pavillion that runs its fans like crazy and overheats & restarts at the drop of a hat. This is a big beast of a thing but so cool and quiet.
