What do you mean by a year? Seasons-wise? A set number of days? There are mod that adjust the length of the semesters.

Polgannon Project Seriously, I'm still working on it.

I always considered university to be a "pocket" of time...the rest of my students' families don't age while they're at college.

That being said, I have mods where you can set the number of hours until finals. If I have, say, born-in-game Sims who have quite a bit of skills, I make them put their noses to the grindstone, get that performance meter filled up, and send them off to finals.

I belive I mean season, two semesters is one season right?

Anyway I am using the hours mod but when using that almost the only thing the sims can do is study and train skills(I use the 24 hours verison) and even with that it takes long time because there is 4 seasons.

If your season is 3 days and your semester is 72 hours and you spend a lot of time on community lots, your semester and season will fall out of alignment. The college clock always runs - even when you're on a community lot, but the days and seasons only progress when your sim is 'home'.

Do you mean remove the seasons without uninstalling Seasons? I don't think so. You can change your college neighborhood to have only one season, though. I think some people keep their universities in permanent Fall to keep the skilling boost that season offers.

Oooh, I never thought about changing the season of a Uni subhood to always be autumn. I might have to do that, seeing as the point of Uni is pretty much learning. :D

Could you explain what's bothering you about how the game is set up and what you're trying to do?

I guess I don't understand what the seasons have to do with how long college takes. But if you want to sync your college time with the seasons you would have to find separate mods that would happen to work together.

'Projects Realistic Ages: Seasons' is a mod here that has a 3 day season. If you used that with the 36 hour semester - and never went to University community lots - (and if they don't conflict) then you should have a your seasons and semesters be the same.

But that would also shorten your seasons in your home 'hood. Have you given a thought to using TJ's College Adjuster? Basically, you can set your finals whenever you're ready to take them.

I keep the standard seasons, but use the weather machine to change to Fall when I need to get major skilling in. Granted, I wiped out half my dorm and the lunch lady during a Rain of Fire malfunction...

Your thinking about wrong seasons, I am not talking about the four seasons of a year but university seasons, what language are you playing with? It was tricky for me too to find out what seasons was.

Okay, that's probably why I didn't understand. I play in English and thought you were talking about Seasons the EP vs having changing seasons of Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.

I'm still not sure what you mean by university seasons. Terms, maybe? There are four terms, (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) and each term has 2 semesters.

Have you checked out the College Adjuster (it's over at Simbology)? It's not exactly what you're looking for, but with it you can make each semester as long or as short as you need. You can even skip terms and give your student any grade you wish.

Yeah, the word you're looking for OP is either Term or Semester. Not season.
