Usually if nobody answers a question, it is because nobody who visits this forum KNOWS the answer Everything that's known about modding TS3 comes from days, weeks or months of hard work analyzing unknown data formats and picking over game code.Custom radio stations is something EA built into the game... it's not modding. Custom anything else soundwise is a different matter. Feel free to work it out and share your findings! Edit: btw, there has been some work done on encoding music files for TS3... but that is not a straightforward matter, since the game doesn't use a standard codec. Some discussion here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=418050 But from what I understand, sound other than music uses a different codec again, so you're back to square one. |
