Be patient. Please do not double post. There are plenty of people with questions, and the moderators here have lots to do.

You're not going to get into trouble unless you do something rude or asinine like using both accounts at the same time, having arguments with yourself, sockpuppeting, etc. If deedee1980 works fine, and deegamergirl doesn't work, just use the deedee acount, and the deegamergirl account will get pruned eventually due to inactivity. If you really want to use the old account, and can't get in, people could help you more if you explained exactly what you already tried to do. Saying "can't get in no matter what I do" doesn't tell us much. Did you click the forgot password link? Did you get an email? Did your IP change? What error messages are you getting?
