Okay, I'm working on a story set up and part of the idea has one of my sims in a particular job. I found and load the Cryptography Career from this site along with a couple other fun jobs for other stories. I started playing and have had my sim checking the newspaper and computer everyday for nearly two weeks (in sim time that is). So far I keep getting the same small set of jobs every day - some that came with the game and a couple that I loaded as custom content. But it's still the same few jobs on a kind of boring rotation.

Now, I don't know if this is just the (bad) luck of the draw or what. I tend to think it might be since not all the jobs that came with the game have turned up yet. Is there any kind of jobs center I can download to find out if the custom content even loaded, or better yet a way to see a list and get my sim into the career I want so I can get on with my story? I've checked the cheats and there isn't anything there, so I'm a little at a loss.

Just waiting around is getting a tad boring but the story can't continue until she's in the career I need. Help?

It's just the luck of the draw. If you're getting bored waiting, the InSimenator (if you don't have AL/M&G) or the Sim Blender can be used to view and, optionally, join all the careers you have installed.
