Hi, I am doing a series of bedroom sets for kids based on Disney Characters. So I've done the curtains first. The first set the mods didnt think they looked curtainy enough and the screenshots didnt come out well.
Well I got alot of help from the mods and redid them a bit plainer. Mostly I was having a problem with my camera settings too. This is the new batch. The mods said it be a good idea to show them here. I would like to know if it would be worth it to do them
Thanks
Jen

Hey I really like this idea! When I see your curtains I feel like my little sims' rooms are missing something. ( -> your curtains)
Maybe it would help to copy each texture on top of one of maxis for making them look more like curtains.
I hope you get my point. Then just try around: 50% opacy, more or less etc.
I also can't identify the images on Disneys Frog and Disneys Princess. Or are they just plain purple and pink?

Please feel free to correct me, if I make mistakes. I want to improve my English. Thanks! - My website

They are just textures that will match the whole bedroom set. The pictures will be on pillows and things like that.

I also really like the idea, but I am not sure if the mesh is the best one to choose. Why not try recolouring the maxis cafe curtains? If it is the half size that you like then I made a curtain that is repository to the cafe curtains but with the top bit ripped off.

I also think it is the shading that is making them look less curtainy - it's a very regular and quite thick stripe of shadow.

Hi leese, thanks again for all the help in the issues section. I did try the maxis curtain but it made the pattern too scrunchy. Originally I wanted to do the pictures on the curtains and this mesh had the biggest area. Probably I can use less shadow when I put the pleats next time. I think if I had to start all over with a new mesh I would ditch the whole idea.

Oh ok - yea, the mapped texture size is also a requirement - well, I would go with a softer shadow on pleats, I think that will help a lot.
