I just noticed this the other day, I hope it doesnt mess up my game.

A while ago I installed BV but it slowed down my computer. I didnt play any of my families I just noticed the lagging when I started the game so I uninstalled it.

When I uninstalled it I guess it left the family in the family bin and I know use them as part of my rotation. Was using them a VBT?

No, the Travellers should be safe to play; safer than deleting them would be. They had a little jewelry that came with BV, which will now be meshless, but that's shouldn't break the whole neighborhood. If you haven't noticed anything while playing them, you don't have to be braced for anything.

In future, though, I strongly suggest that you back up your game before installing a new EP (or new CC of any kind), and if you have to uninstall you'll be able to go back to status quo without worrying about such things. Also, you probably now have a slew of new townies in the form of natives and tourists, which you don't need, and wouldn't have if you'd restored your saved game.

All you can do is the best you can do.
(My most recent book is Sullivan, That Summer. In case you care.)

The Travellers, right? Their memories are already borked, at least in my game. But they came unconnected to any other Sims already in game, which means that, unless they got introduced to other Sims that got wiped when you uninstalled BV, they should be fine. Amend that: they will be fine as far as they were originally fine.
But just in case, check it with Hood Checker, see if there are some problems with them and how you might be able to fix it.

(Hood Checker is one of Mootilda's tools, downloadable from this site. You should study the instructions for it carefully though. And back up your game before using it, of course )

How are were their memories borked?

I didnt play any families so they shouldn't have met anyone. I just instantly noticed how laggy the game was when I started so I immediately uninstalled it.

I think, other than the clothes and jewelry, if you use either the hoodchecker, the lotdebugger, or both on them you should be okay. I got them in an uberhood download before I had BV, and they never gave me any trouble. All the stealth hood sims seem to end up with their memories pointing to the wrong sims/items as a side effect of being added to the neighborhood, and HoodChecker is the way to fix that without loosing the memories, while lotdebugger aka Batbox will just remove them.

Stuff like memories about Trent's job and promotions, which I remember atm.
They don't point to proper subject - instead being referred to career they refer to Trent.
There aren't many. I just deleted them in SimPE but there's a procedure to fix them if you'd like that.

And it's a good thing that you didn't play before uninstalling.
