Now, I've never experienced this problem before- and it seems as though no one else has. I don't know how this happened, but somehow I am missing actions. I've been playing the Sims 2 for a long while now. And my computer has just recovered from a horrendous wipe, and I decided to install my games again (All EPs), and I don't know if it was just where I didn't realize the "propose" action was missing for my sims, or if it just went and disappeared. So unbeknownst, I set up a couple (the old fashioned way, forgetting the boolprop). And their relationships are both at 100 now, but cannot engaged, nor can my sims ask one another out on a date (or ask anything for that matter). Thank you for reading this, and I look forward to your help. Sincerely, Mircelle |

As a secondary point, did you patch all the EPs? Some of them? None of them? |

Ah, thank you. And no I have not patched any of them. In the past, they worked fine without the patches. The game had all of the actions before it was wiped. I almost think there was a problem in the game's installation (I really hope not) but I will attempt to back up my game and go through the steps as you've suggested. Thank you, Mircelle |

A problem with the installation is unlikely, but not impossible - the game problem FAQ includes methods of finding out whether or not the installation is at fault. ![]() I would recommend patching, especially if you have later EPs like Bon Voyage - there are lots of bugfixes in there, and it's better to patch now and never have problems in future.
