Hello!
I have a problem with my world, quite a few of my buildings end up looking like this: picture!, and even if I rebuild doesn't seem to want to go away.

I have used awesims cornices, which zoomed out seem to look the worst, but some lots do the weird above thing too. Please help!

That looks like the low detail textures are messed up- like in this thread:
http://modthesims.info/showpost.php...601&postcount=4

Does it help if you clear your caches, then lotbin the lot, then replace it? Remember that the worldcaches are relevant here if you are using a custom world.

Thank you, that worked great! It's wonderful to have a world that doesn't have the majority glitched lots.

Yup. At first I changed the textures on the ground by painting or erasing some. That worked until I saved it in EIG, and then it went back to the glitch again. But the other suggestion worked perfectly.

blaaah. When I went back into caw after EIG just now the textures were broken again! I'm not sure what I can do now, once I quite everything buggers up.

Some other info I was pondering is that the buildings it affects are the older buildings. All the non-affected buildings are new. A couple of months ago I deleted almost all the Roseford files after I couldn't get the routing to work, and then to get the world file back I had to convert the packaged .world file into a CAW file again. I think that might be what destroys it. It's also not the buildings themselves, but the lots because if I bulldoze a lot and then rebuild on it, that lot gets buggered up too. Is there any way I can deleted a texture file or cache in simPE, since it seems like the textures are thouroughly buggered.

I had the exact same problem in the exact same situation. The lots wouldn't draw correctly [like in your pic] after extracting from an exported file. I was able to fix it completely, by saving the buildings to the bin in EIG, deleting them all from CAW, replacing the lots, and then putting the buildings back in EIG. Kinda tedious, but it did work. [Worst part was doing the addresses all over again!]

I guess that might mean that what's messed up is in the world's lot information in general and maybe not the lot itself.. if that even makes sense. I really don't know anything of the tech side of stuff, so disregard if I'm just stupid.

Oh drat, shame it didn't work! A lot of the Low detail textures are actually stored in the world file itself as _IMG resources; maybe you could find them all, delete them and then save the world again in CAW/EIG.

Maybe that will help? backup first, of course!

Right, I've fixed it now. I tried to rebuild on a lot, and the texture thing happened again so I thought maybe it has something to do with the lot underneath. So I put the buildings in the bin, then in CAW replaced the lot. When i replaced the buildings on that lot, everything was fine. Thank you for your suggestions and help, I don't think I'd even think of trying this stuff without your help<33

Thank you for replying! My friend suggested that it could be the lot itself that was buggered up, since usually the buggered up graphic was of a previous version of the buildings on top. Replacing the addresses was annoying, but I'm glad I didn't have to rebuild everything!

I wonder if it's a known problem with extracting exported worlds, since it's a pretty big glitch, it makes everything so ugly and weird.
