Join Date: Jul 2011
This is another relatively simple challenge. You must create two sims who wish to be successful in life. A male and female who are both YA or older and must have the perfectionist trait. The other traits are your choice. Then you must move these sims in and create a 3 generation family of 8 sims. (the sims you have made are generation 1)
The catch? Your sims hate big spaces so You are only allowed to use a 15x10 lot or smaller. Can you build this thriving family with only a small lot?
You cannot move out of your lot or switch households. money, mood or skill altering are not allowed. This rule applys to mods as well. Custom content is allowed but must fit in with in game content and You can't use modded objects that have special abilities (e.g the quintessence or little box of treashure. The pose player is an exception to this rule) Any cheat that is for building can be used freely except buy de bug.*
Life fruits are banned in this challenge an you can only have 2 death flowers. You must use normal lifespan but You must max out the elder slider. Adoptions are not allowed. You may only go on vacation 3 times (world adventures) you can use birthday cakes 3 times during the challenge
All lifetime rewards are allowed
The challenge ends when your 3rd generation reaches young adult. When ends you may remove all of the challenge restrictions and play with the family normally if you wish to do so.
For an extra challenge add in the rules of the standard legacy challenge ( 10 generations.)
Each generation must...
Have an adult reach level 10 in a career of your choice.(you can use professions ourself employment if you have ambitions.)
All children and teens must have an B or higher in school.
Every sim should have the perfectionist trait
+1 for every 1000$ at the end of the challenge
+10 for every skill point gained
+10 for each sim born.*
+15 each time a sim grows up well (when you get to choose the trait)
+5 for each B in school (after sim ages up. E.g if a sim has a B as a child and an A as a teen add 20
+15 for each A in school
+30 for every mastered skill (each skill is only counted once so if you have 2 level 10*
+50 if there are no deaths at all in the family.
gardeners you only get bonus points for 1 sim.
+100 if you somehow manage to beat this challenge with a 10x10 lot*
-5 points for every death
-5 for every C, -10 for every D -15 for every E (you fail the challenge if an F is gained. Points deducted when the sim ages up from child to teen and again when the teen becomes a young adult. E.g your sim gets a D as a child you lose 10 points but the sim gets an A as a teen you will gain 15 points and gain 5 points overall
-10 for each skill a toddler does not learn.
-10 for each repo man or burglar visit.
- 5 for each time a sim does not grow up well (when you don't pick the trait.)
-25 if you use a lot bigger than 15x10
-15 points each time a sim (this family does not tolerate affairs)
-5 for each death flower used after 2 have been used.
-5 for each sim moved out. (unless uyou are doing a full legacy challenge.)
-5 for every sim without the perfectionist trait
-5 for each birthday cake after 3 have been used.
You fail the challenge if:
your child or teen has an F in school when they age up
You use a lot bigger than 20x20
There are no children to continue the family and your current generation are elders.
One entire generation dies (e.g both founders or all of there children after the founders are elders.)
this challenge can NOT be combined with my strapped for cash challenge( see here.
Have fun and good luck.

This is a very entertaining challenge at the moment!
I'm working on my second gen right now and I have to admit, making it so three people can live on a 10x10 lot is hard enough as is.
Can't wait until I get it up to eight sims in that household!
