This is my first post, so please be patient with me. I had the same problem with the hack causing my game to crash, so I moved it like this thread mentions. When I moved it the game stopped crashing, but also the console will not come up like before. I have tried every method mentioned in all the threads I found and can not get the cheat code console to come up at all. I even tried typing the commands after doing the control-alt-c but the game just took them as shortcuts so no go there. I am running 2.13.something, the latest patch as far as I know - with grims core and no pirates and nobles. Hope someone can tell me how to get this cheat console to work.

Just a quick update: I found out that when I copied the Resource.cfg file into the game windows made it a txt file named Resource.cfg.txt... stupid windows! So I changed it to the correct name and presto.. the game now crashes like before. So I give up, it just seems there are to be no debug cheats for me. Its a shame though because I was going to try my hand at some meshes but since I can not disable the clothes filter there would be no way of knowing if what I put into the game to test actually was being used or not, so I give up.

Why do you need to disable the clothing filter to see if your mesh is there or not?
Would a casp edit for your custom mesh not make it show on whoever you were testing it on?

Well what I thought is that it would still sort by sim types so some of the clothes my sims could not wear so I would not know if they were there or not. Am i thinking wrong here?

You can edit the casp file to have an item of clothing show on whichever heroes you select....all of them if you want, or just the profession you're using to check your mesh on. You can also select whether npcs are allowed to wear it or not.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with from the meshes =)
