When a baby grows into a toddler, he/she got always Maxis clothes, never the clothes I downloaded (while his/her hair sometimes will be Maxis, sometimes cc). Why is that? Is there something that makes the clothes can also be cc? |

I'm not sure, but I think that when the game gives random clothes to a sim (creating new townie, growing someone born in-game up, etc.) it never uses CC clothes. There's a way to mark custom clothes as "safe to auto-assign to townies" ("townify" them) and there's info on how to do that in the Bodyshop modding forum/wiki, but I never did that and don't really know how exactly it works. |

You can download default replacement clothes. There are probably a few on this website, and there aren't definitely some at Garden of Shadows. I think maxis clothes can be quite cute sometimes! Mostly the ones that come with EPs and SPs though... Edit: The theme at GoS this month is for default replacements! Check out this thread: http://www.digitalperversion.net/ga...29222#msg629222 Luckily you don't have to sign up to download. GoS scares me a bit! |

If you search for and download the Wardrobe Wrangler, one option it allows you to do is 'townify' clothing which allows it to be randomly assigned when a sim grows up or is created in game/in CAS. It's one little flag in the coding (which can be changed in SimPE, but WW is more user-friendly). |

Feeling like a bit of a chat about creation or just... whatever (not necessarily sims)?
